The Soil Sample Box at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Durham County Center office is now open. The center is now accepting soil samples for delivery to the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services soil testing lab starting April 1, 2022.
Boxes and forms for sampling are available in the blue cabinet on the north side of the Extension Building at 721 Foster St. in Durham. Completed samples can be returned to the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Durham County Center office and left in the blue cabinet on the north side of the building.
Samples will be delivered to the laboratory for testing between April 1 and the end of November 2022.
